Open farmland like the kind in Grapeseed creates a feeling of space between locations, whereas highly dense areas of factories, streets and businesses like in Ambrosia create a feeling of being in a very crowded place.
Until Rockstar completes the Leonida map in full, we shall never know the true size of Ambrosia.
