Jason and Lucia may be the faces of GTA 6, but they are not alone. Rockstar has introduced a wider supporting cast connected to smuggling, bank robberies, music, nightlife, social media and Vice City’s criminal economy. Jason Duval
One of the two main protagonists of the highly anticipated GTA 6 Character game is Jason Duval. In Rockstar’s summary of his life, we learn that Jason Duval is trying to lead a simple life but instead gets entangled in a variety of complicated situations.
The first of the two protagonists to be revealed to the public is Jason Duval, with Rockstar Games providing us with a detailed description of the man and his background. According to Rockstar, as a grown up Jason Duval was delinquent during his youth, and even attempted to turn his life around during his time in the Army. When he left the military however, Jason returned to the Leonida Keys and found himself working for local crime lords as a delivery man for the tons of narcotics that flow through the area.
After leaving the Army, Jason found himself back in the Leonida Keys. He got pulled into the local drug dealers’ pushers’ various delivery work for them. Given Jason’s past life of being a delinquent surrounded by criminals it was only a matter of time before he got drawn into the various criminal operations that existed in the Leonida Keys to do work for their players in the various locations around the city. He has knowledge of the various criminal operations that exist in the Leonida Keys and their respective players. He knows the locations in which they operate and the types of people who would look to exploit them for financial gain.
What Is Jason’s Personality?
I haven’t gotten too far into the game but so far Jason seems like a pretty mellow and cautious guy for the protagonist of a GTA game. His official Rockstar Games profile describes him as a “security seeker” but this is not always reflected in his actions in the game.
There are some glimpses of Jason in the other trailer clips of Rockstar’s new GTA game, such as him listening to Lucia talk about her aspirations and her contribution to the Heists that they’re planning and pulling off together. There are also clips of him riding solo on 2 different motorcycles, cruising around various parts of the Leonida Keys (I think it’s called Leonida Keys). With his military background it’s fair to say that this will allow him to handle being under extreme pressure in the game’s world. However, I have not seen any game features that might be classed as ‘military’ and available to the player to use. Hopefully this will become apparent when more info is released by Rockstar about the upcoming GTA.
Jason seems like the more down to earth of the two and I imagine he has very little idea of where he and Lucia are as a couple. This would make for some very intense moments as they are forced to make very tough decisions together.
Lucia Caminos
Lucia Caminos is GTA 6 Characters second main protagonist and the first woman presented as a lead character in a modern Rockstar Grand Theft Auto story.
Lucia was taught to defend herself by her father from a very young age. Her life later became increasingly difficult, and fighting for her family eventually resulted in her being sent to the Leonida Penitentiary.
Rockstar says that Lucia gets out of prison through good fortune rather than because everything in her life has been resolved. After her release, she understands that she must make more calculated decisions if she wants to avoid returning to prison.
Lucia’s main motivation is to achieve the better life her mother once imagined for their family. Her family previously lived in Liberty City, connecting her background to another well-known location in the Grand Theft Auto universe.
Unlike someone waiting for circumstances to improve naturally, Lucia appears ready to take control of her future. She sees her partnership with Jason as a possible route toward financial security and freedom.
Why Was Lucia in Prison?
For characters in Rockstar GTA 6 Characters, we have found out a bit about the background of the character of Lucia. For example, she went to prison because she fought for her family. However, the incidents that led to her imprisonment have not yet been fully elaborated upon by the developers of this game series and neither has the offense for which she was found guilty been revealed.
There has been an opening trailer for the game and from that we can see a woman called Lucia who is shown to be inside a prison and then outside the prison with Jason. We don’t yet know how the early missions of the game are going to be played out but it’s believed that her release from prison is going to happen early on in the games story.

In terms of her appearance, videos and dialogue, Lucia comes across as a very driven woman. She is clearly a family woman, but at the same time like anyone else she realises that her actions have consequences and sometimes she can act impulsively. But once she realizes that there is a lot of potential for her to earn loads of money and recognition for herself and her family she is more than happy to take the leap and start planning.
Footage of Lucia has also been released, showing off her down to earth personality in comparison to Jason, her in-game dialogue and official Rockstar Games description also outlining her values of planning, having connections, and most importantly, having a fat bank account and financial security.
How Jason and Lucia are portrayed in relation to each other will likely offer a fresh take on the typical GTA protagonist and his/her supporting cast of characters throughout the game. From what we can gather based off the footage, their relationship will be central to the story.
Jason and Lucia’s Relationship
In contrast to GTA 5, in which three main characters were at the center of the story and their goals and conflicts were brought to the forefront, GTA 6 is centered on the relationship between Jason and Lucia.
The official storyline to GTA 6 follows Jason and Lucia and how their simple heist goes horribly wrong and are forced in the middle of a massive crime to navigate the sprawling metropolis of Leonida, fighting to survive in a desperate bid to stay one step ahead of their deadly pursuers.
So far there has been no word from Rockstar on whether or not the player can affect the pair’s relationship during the game, or indeed if there are multiple endings and if both Jason and Lucia will be playable throughout the entire campaign.

Cal Hampton is another close friend of Jason’s, just like Brian Heder can be found in his home most of the time, Cal can be seen on his computer following an online theory behind events, listening to Coast Guard radio communications or reading about events unfolding on the other side of the country.

As opposed to the other characters, however, Cal is pretty quiet and spends a lot of time at home at his computer watching videos of conspiracy theories on the Internet, listening to coast guard communications etc. We haven’t specified if Cal will or not be joining Jason and Lucia on missions, he could provide help, communication or even be comedic relief.
He could be used in many different ways such as providing information for the player, acting as a communications aid for Jason and even being used as comedic relief in many of the missions. However, no information has been provided by Rockstar as to whether or not Cal joins Jason and Lucia during their various heists.
Contrast to Jason, however, is found in Cal’s contented existence. A single location is where he resides for the majority of his life and Cal is mostly isolated from the world in his home where he spends most of his time.
Boobie Ike
Boobie Ike is a rich businessman in Vice City. He’s a street-smart businessman that made his wealth while still sporting the image of a street-smart gangster. Locals know him well, frequently spotting him walking between his various clubs and recording studios throughout the city.
Boobie Ike is a successful Vice City entrepreneur. He uses his street credibility to build a business empire with real estate, bars and nightclubs, and recording studios. Boobie and his businesses appear to be a completely above board legitimate business however there are signs that he may also be involved in Vice City’s organized crime.
The man is a partner to Dre’Quan Priest in the development of Only Raw Records, a new venture for this up and coming music company trying to make it big in the Vice City entertainment field.
He is the type of guy who can get you introduced to major businessman, entertainers and crime bosses of Vice City. With Boobie’s money and reputation, it would be worth his while to help Jason and Lucia, but he would want something in return.
Dre’Quan Priest
Dre’Quan Priest is an ambitious music promoter and partner in Only Raw Records. He previously earned money through street-level activity, but his main objective has always been to establish himself in the music business.
Dre’Quan works with Boobie Ike and has signed Real Dimez to the label. He believes that the right song could give them the success needed to enter the wider Vice City music scene.
His character may connect GTA 6’s criminal storyline with clubs, performers, record labels and social media marketing. Rockstar has used radio and music culture throughout the GTA series, but Dre’Quan’s storyline suggests the industry may play a more visible role this time.
Real Dimez: Bae-Luxe and Roxy
Real Dimez is a rap duo consisting of Bae-Luxe and Roxy. They have been friends since high school and built their public identity through music, online attention and a constant social media presence.
The pair previously gained attention from a successful track with another local artist. After several difficult years, they have signed with Only Raw Records and are trying to produce another major hit.
Real Dimez represents the social-media-focused side of modern Vice City. Their story may involve viral videos, nightclub appearances, promotional events and the pressure of maintaining online fame.

Raul Bautista
Raul Bautista – Bank Robber. Experienced, Confident, Charismatic. Planner. He is looking for people to do a job for. People who are capable of the job, know what they’re getting themselves into, and are willing to take the risks for big payday.
Raul is more than likely to be a point of contact for Jason and Lucia to get involved in bigger scores. Rockstar have described Raul in previous interviews as a very confident, charming and calculated individual. This makes him a great partner for bigger heists, possibly even a mentor for Jason and Lucia to learn from in the world of bank robbery.
Other characters in Rockstar Games have continued down violent paths until the end of their storylines. With Raul and his crew, they’re heading down a violent path with the risky jobs he plans. They can continue on these jobs or get out before it’s too late for them.
Raul is a possible secondary character to generate conflict in the game by bringing Jason and Lucia into more perilous situations and further into the conspiracy, eventually leading to large amounts of money.
Brian Heder
He’s a 50 year old veteran of the smuggling trade. He operates in the Leonida Keys, he said from his boat yard where he’s based today. While he may leave the more hazardous jobs to the younger men, Heder is still firmly established in the trade. For now, he said with a smile, he’s more of a laid back coastal entrepreneur. In one of Heder’s boat yards Jason has a roof over his head for local work.
I let the younger guys do the hard work. The older ones can get too hung up on details. He lives rent free in one of my properties down here, in exchange for odd jobs, for help around the island with the local jobs.
Brian Heder is a veteran smuggler with years of experience running products through the Leonida Keys. A boat yard is part of his current operation and he uses it. He wants to send out the younger associates to do the dangerous work of the job. Jason lives rent free in one of the properties Brian owns and is expected to do odd jobs for him in the local area from time to time. Some of the first story work could come from transportation and smuggling missions in the Keys and Brian’s connection to boats, aircraft and the island could lead to this.
Brian is a very relaxed coastal businessman, however he is extremely experienced, very observant and very dangerous indeed.

Are the GTA 6 Voice Actors Confirmed?
